Weekly Chat

Thank you all for your well wishes. I'm feeling much better now. I feel like I lost 2 weeks of my life and I needed a calendar to reorient me.

DATE:  July 15, 2024

WEATHER:  76 degrees with a predicted high of 97 today. Still no rain but we have a cold front coming through later in the week with some rain.

READING:  "More Than a Healer" by Costi Hinn.  "Glorious Appearing-the End of Days" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins (this is a re-read and I may not continue)

LISTENING TO:  Almost at the end of "Light from Heaven" by Jan Karon

KNITTING:  Still working on my shawl. It began as a scarf but I'm continuing to make it large enough to be a shawl. It's a long project because I work on it in spits and spurts.

THANKFUL FOR:  Prayers and well wishes and God's presence when I was ill. And thankful for life.

PONDERING/PRAYING:  I have been sickened by the events of Saturday night. I am not a political person and have no interest in a political debate. But when a candidate running for president of the United States is shot at simply because he is not liked. . . . We need God in this country.

A PEEK INTO MY LIFE:
My daughter is an amazing knitter. Now she has added crochet to her
talents. This is a collection of stitches and techniques she's
been practicing. The blanket is called Blossom and Buds
by Lottie and Albert as a Sidar KAL

QUOTE:

SCRIPTURE:
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgement
you shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord."
Isaiah 54:17

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God
for pulling down strongholds."
2 Corinthians 10:4

Wishing you all a great week!
